The Journey Of A Lifetime

By Evan Sanders

What if you could have a dream that wasn't under control? What if you could begin a voyage that would never end? What would that look like? How enormous could you dream?

Winston Churchill once famously proclaimed, "To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often."

Imagine going on the grandest journey of your life that was deep rooted in the fact that you were going to modify each day. You would discover new things about yourself endlessly, consistently bring new and exciting people into your life and dive into the caves of your heart you've never entered before. This journey would outline every day you lived and made sure that you were always growing and deepening. This great adventure is possible but it is right around the corner after you confront your deepest fear. Maybe that deep fear is of being alone, not being significant or meaning enough, or failing to make a result on the globe. Perhaps that deep fear is only something you actually know deep within and have been scared to tell any other person. But when you confront that fear and dedicate the course of your life to a mission, it subsides and the probabilities of life open up in front of you.

Phenomenal things really begin to occur for you.

Life begins to shape and mold wonderfully.

And dreams, well, those dreams you've always had turn into a reality.

Many might think this idea is moonshine, but I've seen it take place with my own eyes in my personal life and to the various lives of others I have coached professionally. When you face your fears and decide to go on a voyage, you become the hero of your own story. You give yourself the great opportunity to be constantly suprised by life and live in such a way that you are completely by your great fears.

So what will it be today? Fear...or adventure?
