Joining The Coward Baptist Church Involves Water Baptism

By Jerry Green

Religion is a good thing. Actually, religion did not start yesterday. It has existed for thousands of years. In addition, it will not end any time soon. It will continue existing till the end of the world. Human beings are by nature religions. They are always looking for a higher purpose in life and they often find that in religion. The religion of Christianity has changed many lives. It has given many people purpose in life. Joining a Coward Baptist Church will mark the start of a brand new life. One will be able to start living his life to the full.

America is a Baptist nation. That is the plain truth. It is the ultimate reality that every American should accept and live with. A significant percentage of the American population is made up of Baptists. The most popular Protestant congregation in United States of America is the Southern Baptist congregation. The Protestant movement is an offshoot of Catholicism, as a result of the Great Reformation.

To join any Baptist church in the United States, Canada, or anywhere in planet earth one has to first accept that he is a sinner and to subsequently be baptized. As it is commonly said in Scripture, every human being has sinned and fallen short of the glory. Baptism will make up for the deficit needed to attain eternal life.

Baptism involves total immersion into water. One will enter into the water as a sinner and he will come out of it as a brand, new creature. All his sins will be forgiven and there will be no account of sins that will be kept against him. One will become as white as snow. Baptism is a good thing.

Water baptism is usually the order of the day in Christianity. One will be immersed into water and latter released from the water. That is symbolic in every sense and respect. The immersion marks the death of sin. Coming from the water marks the start of a righteous life. A baptized Christian should always stick on the path of righteousness.

To remain strong in the faith after Baptism, a Christian needs to pray without ceasing so that he does not fall into temptation. He should also read his Bible on a daily basis so that to obtain much needed spiritual nourishment. The Holy Bible needs to be the compass of a baptized Christian. It should be the light of his feet.

No book has been translated as much as the Bible. It has been translated to thousands of languages. Therefore, people belonging to the most indigenous tribes can be able to read Scripture and subsequently know the truth and be saved from their sins. Scripture is holy and true. It was written by holy and inspired men over periods of thousands of years.

There is nowhere in the world where one will not find Christians. China is not a Christian nation. However, it has millions of Christians. That is also the case in Muslim majority countries in the Middle East. America is considered as one of the most Christian nations on earth. All the founding fathers of American were practicing Christians.
