In this field, jobs come in a variety of work sectors. Chemical mechanical, Civil, Computer, Environmental and many others. Engineer job requirements differ from according to duties for particular work. They are similar in the reasons for designing, maintaining, upgrading and all this to promote simpler ways of doing things for a better, easier working and living conditions. With this, it becomes important to attend a job hunters boot camp.

Money does make the world move. People are all after a living that is good and comfortable. Engineer jobs are different. The top paying jobs in these fields would require specific qualifications or study. All engineer jobs are well paying, it depends on the level of work you do. From a beginner to a top experienced workman in a big company.

Mentioning two top requirements. The first being Nuclear Engineering. When nuclear is mentioned, thoughts of bombs, political power, war and all scary things come to a person's mind. It is that type of nuclear that involves bombs and weapons. The world has changed to focus on getting the best out of most situations. Out of an industry that focused on war has come a livelihood that instead benefits the humankind.

Mathematics can be very complex. Coming in different levels calculating, designing to analyzing and solving problems. It must be an easy subject to the individual. It is used in everything in engineering, this is for bringing about the utmost accuracy in formulas, inventions. Easily ruling out errors and making the necessary corrections.

This is not a one-man job. It involves a huge team system. Which must be perfectly connected. Good communication skills are needed. It is therefore required to be a person who works well with others can depend on and trust other team members. Being reliable and trusted with your position in the chain of production.

Sharing knowledge will lead to everyone qualified to what others can. Willingness to listen will make a good team player. One project can take more than one hundred plus engineers working on it. If the progress and steps or any new changes ideas are not shared this can lead to a disaster. Accidents can happen that could cost lives or destroy a company financially.

It is the same with Civil, Computer and other Engineering fields. These jobs need Academical knowledge of science and Maths. Skills and passion for the chosen industry. Experience is more vital than the degrees. The need to gain experience through internships and practical certification courses to specialize in certain departments of work. The same qualifications do not stay relevant for a lifetime. The world is fast passed and technology is ever evolving. Research, more study must be done to keep the job and the engineer relevant.

Course study in the environmental field is the first step. A masters degree in natural gas and petroleum will be needed. However, it can be completed while on the job. These courses are available online if you meet the entry requirements. Starting as a surveying officer or environmental auditor a person can work or study to be a Petroleum Engineer.
