Bible Passages Used In Christian Mens Conference

By Kevin Robinson

For a man to survive in this dynamic world, he needs to be knowledgeable. For this reason, conferences are organized where teachers come to educate them. Christian men are encouraged to attend Christian mens conference where they are sure to get some tips on how to overcome life's challenges. This will help them survive tough times and come out even stronger.

A very important passage for men that will be taught in most conferences is Joshua 1:9. This passage encourages men not to be afraid because God is always near. It adds that God is always with man wherever he goes. This is a great promise because, with God's presence around man, it means that nothing can overpower him since God is the all in all.

Someone looking for inspirational passages without anyone in mind will surely find some in the book of Psalms. Even from the first chapter and first three verses, Christian men are admonished how to live their lives. They are warned of the kind of people they should not call friends. Such people include the scornful, the sinners and the ungodly. The time to be spent with them should be used in the study of the Bible.

Men should not be afraid of one another. This is according to the scriptures in Psalms 118:6. Man is not to fear his fellow man because no man owns life. The only one who man should be afraid of Is God and that is because he has the ability to take life and give it back.

Another one from the book of Psalms is in 119:9. This is for men who want to please the Lord and stand holy before his presence. The psalmist here says that the way to do this is by taking heed to the word of God. This means studying it and being careful to note and to do all that is written therein.

If a man wants to make it faster, he needs to partner. This is a secret that even Christians are told to imbibe in Proverbs 27:17. However, it is not for them to mix up with the ungodly. Two men of the same faith in God partnering in the same business will do much better than one person who is struggling alone. Someone who just reads this Proverbs 27:17 on the surface will not understand this principle except he is led by the Holy Spirit or he attends a conference.

When you are in serious trouble and you are totally confused about what to do next, God encourages you to pray and study the book of Jeremiah chapter 29 verses 11. Here, God says he knows the plan he has for you, which is to bring you to an expected end. This is enough to be hopeful in any adversity.

In the New Testament, men are advised to confess their sins to one another. The reason is to stand upright before the Lord when praying. A righteous man's prayer goes a long way in achieving what seems impossible. As men confess their sins to one another, they are also prayed for by their fellow men.
