How To Finally Be Yourself Even If Everyone Tells You Otherwise

By Evan Sanders

Admit it, the pressure is astronomical.

One of the worst things you can do for your character is be someone that you are not. Unfortunately, it happens to many of us where we start to morph into something completely unknown to us instead of be uniquely ourselves.

But that's life.

However, there's a very different way to live your life.

If you let go of everything that you think you "should be" and make room for who you really are, you can begin to discover all that life really has to offer you. You can open up to seeing the possibilities for yourself and really begin to understand the core characteristics that make you so special.

Unfortunate but true.

The more you open yourself up to the world and become yourself the more you will feel the gravity of this pull trying to bring you back into the middle. The rest of the world, as much as they admire people who are "different" doesn't actually want you to stand out. They want you to be exactly like them because then they won't feel so bad about themselves. Do it anyways.

Being yourself isn't always the easiest thing in the world, but it's one of the most worthwhile adventures you can go on. It will send you down a path of discovery and personal development you never thought possible. It will bring out things in you that you never thought existed. Truly, it is one of the most exciting things there is to do.

So chase your dreams and be yourself. Make sure you are doing what you want to do in this life and bringing out the best version of yourself. Sure there will be challenges that come up alone the way, but that comes with playing a big game in life. It's better to be on the field than sitting in the stands.

Be different. Be courageous.

Do whatever it takes to invest into yourself to become the best person you can possibly be. When you do this you really show yourself and the world that you believe in yourself and know that you have what it takes.
